Our history
Studio Maleki brings their experience of three generations into every carpet they create. Leaders in the production of luxurious custom hand made rugs, they have been working for generations for an array of clients such as: private villas, exclusive customers, yachts, hotels, and much more. Mr. Maleki began his career as a collector and seller of antique rugs, inspired by the beauty and the history, he went on to produce, design, create, and distribute his own made to order luxury carpets, rugs, and tapestries. His bespoke work was quickly recognized by famed maisons such as Salvatore Ferragamo, where he created pieces exclusively for their palaces. Mr. Maleki and his studio has also dived into the modern world in the sector of design and architecture, working with renowned names such as Norman Foster, and more. Studio Maleki prides itself on handmade quality and craftsmanship and the usage of only natural dyes. Studio Maleki prides themselves on assistance, quality, and it’s one-of-a kind beautiful pieces.
What we do
Studio Maleki is a house for the production and creation of luxury carpets, tapestries and fabrics. Everything is entirely customized and made to measure, designed to be able to allow designers and clients exclusive products a range of pricing that varies on each individual project. Since our process is diverse for each client and pieces are completely made to order and handmade, the sizing for products can vary from a personal piece, to all of the tapestry in a villa. Studio Maleki provides custom-made luxury services for both public and private spaces, such as interiors and exteriors in the following: yachts, private jets, hotels, showrooms, spas, residences, villas and private homes, and more Our custom-made productions look to interpret the unique style of each customer. Our services seek to represent our client’s image beautifully for all to see.

Lorenzo Maleki
Lorenzo Maleki begins his journey into the world of luxury custom made carpets, rugs and tapestries as an ode to the art of Persian carpets. Originally from Tehran, the idea of tapestries and carpets has long had an influence. The idea of a Persian carpet was the epitome of luxury and class, Maleki dreamed of bringing this luxury to the homes and projects of clients and designers. Graduating from both the University of Foreigners in Perugia and the Faculty of Architecture in Florence and Milan, Maleki began to research and resell antique carpets. Thus a passion was born and made into a life-long career. After generations of researching and collecting antique carpets, Studio Maleki was born. The founder himself is now dedicated to his studio and the production of his luxury, custom made, handmade carpets, rugs, and tapestries. Mr. Maleki is now proud to bring the idea of luxury carpets and rugs, once only available for emperors and kings through the Persian and French empire to the modern world.
